Tribute features

You can create your Tribute in just a few minutes

No computer programming or website experience is needed. There is a simple 5 step process to follow and you can then view and share your website immediately.

You are given a unique web address which is yours to keep. For example a website to Jack Smith might be jacksmith.muchloved.com, but you can select your own name (such as a nickname) if you prefer. Back to top

Your Tribute will look beautiful and never have adverts

Unlike many sites, your Tribute is not fixed width; you can expand or reduce its size so that it appears correctly on any sized screen. If you have not added a particular element (such as video) it will not show as an option to visitors so you do not then show a ‘Nothing Here’ message. We want your Tribute to look beautiful, regardless of what information or how much you add. Likewise, there are not and never will be any adverts or promotional material added to your Tribute, ever. It is your site, for you. Back to top

You can personalise and continually develop your Tribute

We provide many designs for you to choose from and you can then add, delete and amend everything whenever and how often you want, without charge.

Your Tribute memorial has an entrance page where you display your main words of tribute and slideshow, but you can if you wish develop your Tribute into unlimited linked pages to preserve stories, record key life events, keep a journal, display a gallery, and more. Back to top

You have complete control over access and contributions

You can decide whether to allow public or private access. Even if you do not want public access you can still enable special people to visit using your own easy ‘Invite’ facility that you are provided with.

You can also decide whether to allow contributions from visitors and you are given the option to review them first so that you can accept or decline before they are posted onto your Tribute.

As well as deciding who can visit, you can specify whether to allow contributions of messages, stories, photos, music and video. For example you can decide to allow messages of condolence to be sent whilst not allowing music or video. Back to top

Adding stories and keeping a personal diary

You can add as many stories as you wish, however short or long. You can build up a Life Story of many, many chapters if you wish and by providing the point or period of time they occurred, a Timeline will be created for you as well.

You can also keep a personal diary on your Tribute for recording your feelings and your journey through grief. This can be kept totally private if you wish, even to invited guests. Back to top

Adding photos, music and video

We enable you to easily add photos, music and video which you organise in your Tribute ‘Library’ facility and show in your gallery. You can link any of these to display with particular stories and you can create a personalised slideshow for your main Tribute page. You can also create your own music play list for visitors to listen to as they browse, with full audio controls to pause, adjust volume or mute. Back to top

A sensitive way of inviting friends and family

We provide you with an invitation facility that will send special email invites to your guests so that they can visit without having to enter a password first, even when you keep your Tribute private to anyone apart from your guests. As a result your guests do not need to ‘unlock the door’ to visit your tribute, but at the same time you can keep it secure to anyone else. Back to top

You can raise funds for your favourite charity

MuchLoved works with many bereavement and support organisations and you can also set up your Tribute with the option of accepting donations as a fitting way of raising money for your charity of choice. Back to top

We keep your site online for 10 years... or forever

MuchLoved hosts your Tribute for you so that it is online whenever you want to visit over the days, months and years after your loss. We always host for 10 years but we also give you the option to keep it online forever, so that you can create a truly special lasting memorial for future generations to visit and find out about your loved one.
